Selwo is the largest man - made nature reserve in Spain. It has over 100 hectares of land on which different natural habitats have been recreated. There are over 2,000 animals living in semi - freedom. You will see over 40 species of birds, buffalo, llamas, lions, tigers, bears, giraffes and other large mammals. Luckily the huge pythons and anacondas are not free range, but are kept in the huge reptile house. There is a restaurant in the visitor's centre.
