La Alcazaba - C/ Alcazabilla s/n
The Archaeological Museum is located in the castle / fortress La Alcazaba. It contains important archaeological findings from the Phoenician era to the Moorish epoch. Many of the findings were found under the restoration of La Alcazaba and include Roman sculptures and mosaics, Arab ceramics and other pre-historical artefacts.

Talk about an unusual outing! Visit a Paleochristian basilica dating back to the IV century. Roman baths in Guadalmina (Archaeological remains thought to have been public baths or an aqueduct, dating back to Century III A.D.) and a Roman villa located in Rio Verde. Open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 12:00. Call for appointment or go to the tourist office in San Pedro to make a reservation for a free guided tour (24 hours notice required.) You will have to pick up your guide at the San Pedro arch.
